If you’re looking for a cozy winter hideaway, I have the perfect one for you! The Deer Mountain Inn is a charming and rustic getaway that offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s only 2 hours out of NYC, in the heart of the Catskill Mountains.

The inn is a beautifully restored 19th-century farmhouse that features a mix of antique and modern decor. Guests can choose from a variety of rooms, including traditional guest rooms, suites, and cottages, each of which is unique and decorated with a mix of vintage and modern furnishings.

One of the highlights of the Deer Mountain Inn is its location. The inn is surrounded by picturesque mountains and forests, making it a perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts. There are a variety of hiking trails nearby, for those winter hike enthusiasts.

The inn also offers a variety of activities and amenities to keep guests entertained. One of my favorite’s was the attic which had a cozy atmosphere with a crackling fire. It has a pool table as well as a variety of board games. There is also a movie watching area and a bar with make-your-own popcorn!

The inn's restaurant is another great feature, serving a delicious farm-to-table cuisine with seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms. Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast, delicious lunch, or a romantic dinner in the elegant dining room or on the terrace with stunning views.
